Why an Experience Beats a Reservation

Group travel has a logistics problem: coordinating transport for twelve, fixed menus nobody fully loves, shared space, and a bill that arrives just as the evening gets good. A private villa experience deletes all of it. A proposal can be timed to the sunset. A kids' party can start after nap time. A sushi class can become dinner. Private Cocktail Party

Professional bartenders, glassware, ice, setup and cleanup at your villa. Cocktail packages start from IDR 500,000++ per guest (minimum 10) for BYO service; you supply the spirits. Two ways to ask: the chef-led proposal dinner where the food is the moment, or the full proposal package with discreet coordination and optional styling, flowers and photography agreed in your proposal.

How It Works

1. Choose your experience. Each page shows what's included, typical duration, group sizes and pricing anchors.
2. Send a short brief. One WhatsApp message: date, villa, guests, occasion, dietary needs.
3. Receive a tailored plan. Menu or activity design, staffing, inclusions and an itemised quote. Applicable tax, service and optional additions are confirmed before you commit.
4. Just turn up. The team arrives for the agreed setup, runs your experience and cleans down the agreed work areas.

Where We Host

We host experiences across all major villa regions: Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu, Ubud, Sanur, Nusa Dua and Jimbaran. We review villa facilities, access and permissions before confirming. Travel is included for Canggu, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Berawa and Pererenan; other areas have a travel fee itemised in your quote.

What private experiences does myCHEF offer in Bali? Eight: private cocktail parties, sushi masterclasses, Indonesian cooking classes, kids birthday chef parties, champagne and oyster experiences, caviar service, whiskey and cigar experiences, and romantic proposal dinners.

How much do private experiences cost? Indonesian cooking classes are IDR 700,000++ per person with a four-guest billable minimum. BYO cocktail packages start at IDR 500,000++ per guest, minimum 10, with spirits supplied by you. Children’s parties, additional staff and other bespoke arrangements need an itemised quote. Caviar experiences are quoted individually in a written proposal.

Can experiences be combined? A sushi class that becomes dinner, a champagne & oyster hour before a proposal, a cocktail party with canapé service. We design the flow around your occasion.

What group sizes work? Proposal dinners are for couples; sushi classes usually suit smaller groups. Cocktail packages start at 10 guests, children’s parties at six children subject to booking requirements, and the caviar foundation package covers up to eight guests. The selected experience page explains minimums and larger-group arrangements.

Can you handle dietary requirements? Mention dietary requirements and allergy severity in your first message. The chef must confirm whether your selected menu or activity can be adapted before accepting the booking.

Do you bring everything? Your proposal specifies food, equipment, glassware, staffing and cleanup. We review the villa facilities first. Alcohol, special styling and extra services depend on the package and are itemised separately where needed.

How far in advance should I book? Two to four weeks is comfortable for most experiences; proposals and peak-season dates (July–August, December) benefit from earlier planning. Shorter notice is sometimes possible if you message us first, but we do not take same-day bookings.

What deposit is required? A 50% deposit confirms your date; the balance is due the day before the event. Cancellations made seven or more days before receive a full refund of amounts paid. Under seven days, the 50% deposit is forfeited and any balance already paid is refunded. See the cancellation policy.
