An event highlight film is different from a complete ceremony recording or quick vertical clips. Tell us where you will watch or share the result, which moments need full coverage and whether speeches must be recorded clearly. We confirm the crew, cameras, audio capture and edit style around those priorities.

The proposal defines shoot hours, final film length, horizontal or vertical formats, music licensing, turnaround and revision allowance. Raw-footage handover and extra edits are agreed explicitly. Request a complete authorised sample film from the proposed videographer to understand the storytelling and sound, alongside shorter examples.

Drone requests depend on the operator’s assessment and permitted flight at the exact venue. A livestream also needs a tested internet connection, platform access, audio feed and recording handover. A content creator can supply quick social material, but this does not automatically include the equipment or finished film of a professional video package.
The details make the difference
A videographer in Bali can document an event, create a wedding highlight, film a proposal or produce short content for sharing. The filming plan should follow the intended result. A brief social clip, a longer highlight film and a complete speech recording are different deliverables, even when captured at the same event. Tell us the preferred length, orientation and audience, together with the moments and people that need to appear in the final edit.
Wedding and event films may combine atmosphere, music, spoken words and candid interactions. Corporate coverage can require clear branding, speaker identification or content suitable for later marketing. Social content may prioritise vertical framing and a faster turnaround. If drone footage is requested, treat it as a separate, location-dependent element: the operator must confirm whether it can be arranged for the venue, conditions and applicable requirements.

The details make the difference
Good event footage is only part of a useful film. If vows, speeches or interviews matter, include clear audio capture in the brief. The video crew may need to coordinate microphones or a feed with the sound operator. Share the running order and identify any moments that happen once, such as a surprise entrance or performance finale. Multiple spaces or simultaneous activities may affect the number of crew and cameras required.
Confirm the delivery package in writing: edited film duration, number of versions, file format, music approach, revision allowance and deadline. Raw footage, full-length recordings and short social edits are not automatically included in a highlight film. Discuss the intended personal or commercial use and who provides approved logos or other assets. Photography and video teams should know each other’s positions for key moments. This lets both capture the event while keeping guest routes clear and avoiding one crew appearing in the other’s essential shots.

If the spoken words are central, arrange audio capture before the event rather than hoping the camera microphone will cover everything. A separate request could preserve full speeches alongside the shorter film. Share the photographer’s plan so both crews can cover entrances and dancing without obstructing each other. The proposal would identify filming hours, crew size, audio arrangements and each edited deliverable, with revision and delivery terms agreed. Drone footage could be considered separately if suitable for the location and operating conditions.
