How Booking Works

1. Message us. Date, guest count, villa, event type. Sofia typically replies the same day with availability and an indicative price.
2. Approve one proposal. One document covers food, drinks, staff, styling, timing and the all-in cost. We adjust it until you sign off.
3. Host. The team arrives hours early, builds the setup, runs service, and clears down. A 50% deposit confirms your date; the balance is due before the event.

Event Catering Bali — FAQ

How much does event catering in Bali cost per guest? Most myCHEF events run from IDR 650K–1.5M++ per person depending on format; full wedding receptions typically range IDR 1.5M–3M++ per person. "++" means 11% government tax and 10% service charge are added — we always quote the all-in total upfront.

What is the minimum guest count? Intimate dinners start from 2 guests. Buffet formats typically require 30+, BBQ packages 10+, and grazing tables serve 10–15. Tell us your headcount and we will recommend the right format.

Do we need a villa with a big kitchen? No. We are a mobile hospitality team — we bring prep equipment, cold storage, glassware and a generator where needed. A small kitchen, or none at all, is not a problem.

Can you handle dietary requirements at scale? Yes — halal-friendly, vegan, gluten-free, raw, nut-free, shellfish allergies and kids' portions, with labelled dishes and separate prep lines for allergies.

How far in advance should we book? Weddings and large retreats: 3–6 months for peak season (July–September, December–January). Smaller events: 3–6 weeks is comfortable. We have also run 30-guest dinners on 72 hours' notice — ask us what is still open.

What deposit is required, and what is the cancellation policy? A 50% deposit confirms your date, with the balance due before the event. Cancellation terms are written into every proposal, with force-majeure clauses as standard.

Are there extra fees for villa events — banjar fees, permits? Many Bali villages (banjar) charge a function fee for events — across Bali this commonly runs around USD 300, and some villas add their own event fee or require outside-vendor permission. We flag every known fee in your proposal so nothing surprises you.

What happens if it rains? Every outdoor event carries a wet-weather plan — marquee rental and indoor relocation are arranged in advance for events in the wet season (roughly November–March).
