Lighting has a physical setup behind the atmosphere. The supplier needs to know where fixtures can sit, which fixing points the venue permits and how cables reach suitable power. Garden areas may require a different installation approach from a covered pavilion. Share access restrictions and the time the space becomes available, especially when dinner furniture or other suppliers are arriving on the same day. Installation and removal should be coordinated with the overall event schedule.
Decide whether the lighting stays consistent or changes through the evening. A static dinner setting may need a different level of operating support from a programme with entrances, performances and dance cues. If you want haze, confetti or another special effect, request it separately and let the supplier and venue confirm the actual requirements.
