Lombok gives you very different settings within one island. Senggigi is on the west coast; Kuta Lombok and Selong Belanak belong to the southern beach itinerary. The distance between your accommodation, the shopping plan and the team’s base matters when building a reliable food programme.

For a family holiday, start with the daily rhythm: who wants an early breakfast, when the children eat and which days everyone plans to be out. A full-day stay-chef booking reserves staff for agreed meal windows, with preparation and kitchen cleanup included in the scope. The menu can change direction across the stay without requiring a new restaurant decision every evening.

For one birthday dinner, BBQ or welcome lunch, ask for catering. We can focus the service on that occasion and the right guest count. If a celebration brings extra visitors to the villa, tell us separately from the number staying overnight so food, service staff and table space are planned correctly.

Illustrative family menu: eggs prepared to preference, fruit and toast for breakfast; a generous lunch of grilled chicken or fish, rice and vegetables; then an Indonesian-inspired sharing dinner. This is a menu direction, not a fixed package. Ingredient availability and the kitchen determine the final dishes.

A celebration can take a different direction: seafood from an agreed supplier, a mixed grill, Mediterranean sharing plates or a plated dinner with a lighter dessert. Requested premium cuts, imported ingredients and wine pairings need advance sourcing and a stated budget.

For a retreat, discuss meal timing and dietary requirements together. Vegetarian, vegan and other requests are reviewed before shopping; allergies require specific ingredient and handling checks. We do not promise an allergen-free kitchen simply because the meal is prepared privately.

A company stay with working meals

Keep meeting breaks predictable with an agreed meal timetable. Coffee equipment, service staff and any larger closing party are separate requirements to scope alongside the food, not automatic inclusions in a chef booking.

Start with the villa, dates and meal plan

Send the property link and map pin, your arrival and departure dates, adults and children, preferred meal times and approximate budget. Kitchen photographs should show the hob, oven if available, fridge, preparation space and dining area. Provide the villa manager’s contact so access and kitchen details can be coordinated.

We then review the feasible service format and outline the menu direction. For a longer stay, separate the staff/service fee from the grocery budget and identify any travel or accommodation requirements. For one event, the proposal states the food and service included, rental needs and the complete quoted charges.

Bookings follow the confirmed proposal and the standard 50% deposit, with the balance due the day before the event. Menu preferences and access arrangements are finalised with the coordinator. If your dates or headcount change, ask for an updated scope so the team and supplies still match the plan.

Mainland road access, unloading space and staff arrival arrangements are checked for the actual villa. A property above a beach may need a different equipment plan from one with direct vehicle access.

Water, power, cooking fuel, fridge capacity and service equipment need confirmation. A clear kitchen inventory helps us decide what can be prepared on site and which items require rental or transport.

For stay-chef bookings, groceries are billed at cost with receipts. Specialty sourcing, transport and any team accommodation remain visible parts of the proposal; there is no blanket island-wide delivery promise.

If your trip also includes Gili Trawangan, Gili Air or Gili Meno, send the separate island dates and properties. Boat arrangements, cold storage and possible staff lodging are reviewed before we confirm that part of the trip.

Yes, subject to the dates, kitchen and staffing plan being confirmed. Send the villa link, pin and guest count. We can discuss a full-day stay chef or quote one special meal as catering.

Does a Kuta Lombok quote also cover Selong Belanak?

The quote covers the property and movements listed in it. If your group changes villas or wants a meal at a second address, tell us first so road travel, access and staffing can be reviewed.

Can you cook around surf departures in south Lombok?

Share the planned departure and return windows when briefing the stay. We can discuss suitable meals within the agreed staff day. Unconfirmed activity times should remain flexible rather than becoming a guaranteed late-night service commitment.

What does a Lombok stay chef cost?

Pricing follows your dates, property, guest count and food requirements. You receive an itemised proposal including applicable logistics. Bali website prices describe those Bali services and are not a confirmed Lombok price list.

Are Lombok groceries included in the staff fee?

Stay-chef groceries are separate, billed at cost with receipts. We agree a working budget and discuss premium requests before purchasing. One-event catering has its own food inclusions stated in the proposal.

Can you help with a business retreat near Mandalika?

We can review a company food and service brief for that location. Send the meeting agenda, accommodation, kitchen details and participant count. Equipment, extra service staff and transport require separate confirmation in the scope.

Is a single villa dinner a full-day chef booking?

A single lunch, dinner or party is catering. A stay chef has a full-day staff minimum. We recommend the format after understanding how many meals you need and who will attend them.

What if our Lombok villa already has a cook?

We can discuss a celebration or additional service alongside any existing cook, with kitchen use, purchasing and cleanup responsibilities agreed before arrival.

Can you continue the same booking onto the Gilis?

It needs a separate logistics review for the exact island and property. Share the island dates before confirming the mainland plan. Staff travel, equipment transport, refrigeration and any overnight accommodation may change the quote.

What are the cancellation terms for our Lombok service?
