How should the evening run around the toasts?
Plan the evening backwards from the moments that matter: the first toast, the speeches and the cake. A calm shape is welcome drinks, a short toast before the starter, speeches between the main course and dessert, then the cake. Our service hours run from 08:00 to 22:00 daily, so the evening closes inside that window.

Yes. A cake or a written message on dessert can be added to any milestone dinner, and it is priced on request. Our birthday BBQ packages already include a standard birthday cake, and a custom cake can replace it. Tell us the flavour and the message when you book, so it is planned with the menu.
Decoration, flowers and a photographer are also quoted on request and shown as separate lines, so you can see what each part of the evening costs.

Can the birthday be a surprise?
Yes. We plan with one contact, usually a partner or adult child, and set up while the guest of honour is out. Tell us how much of a surprise you want when you book: a surprise guest list, a surprise dinner, or both. The reveal, the lights and the cake moment are then timed into the evening plan.
If the birthday falls on Christmas, New Year or another very big day, a private chef is only available within a multi-day booking, and a single dinner on those days is offered as catering instead.
How far ahead should you book, and how does payment work?
Normal notice is 3 days and 2 days is fine, but a milestone dinner with a cake, decoration and wine is easier with more notice; peak season needs 2 to 4 weeks. A 50% deposit locks the date and the balance is due the day before. Cancelling 7 or more days before returns payments minus groceries already bought.
