Send the accommodation listing and ask the manager whether outside cooking and service are allowed. Photograph the kitchen, including its actual appliances and preparation surfaces. A kitchenette may suit a different menu from a fully equipped villa kitchen, and some hotel accommodation will not support external catering at all.

If your group includes people staying elsewhere, nominate the hosting property and confirm its permitted visitor count. Ask about guest registration, noise and supplier access. A dinner with visiting friends can still trigger property conditions even when you are not describing it as a party.

Set a food budget and explain the group’s expectations. A casual meal can be generous without requiring every premium ingredient or a full bar. Arrive knowing the plan

Kuta is outside the published free-travel list. Travel is an itemised part of the quotation, even when the accommodation is within southern Bali.

Confirm who will let the catering team into the venue before the meal. Guests arriving from different hotels should not be the only people who know the access arrangement.

For any outdoor cooking request, identify the permitted position and weather alternative. We do not assume balconies, shared hotel terraces or pool decks can be used for a BBQ.

Clear costs before you confirm

Kuta is outside the free-travel areas. Travel is itemised in your quote before you confirm.

For stay-chef bookings, groceries are billed at cost, no markup, with receipts. One-off catering quotes state the food and service included. Extras are agreed in advance.

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event receive a full refund of amounts paid. Cancellations fewer than 7 days before forfeit the 50% deposit; any balance already paid is refunded.

Can a Kuta hotel room book an in-room private chef?
Ordinary rooms usually do not provide the cooking facilities or permissions needed. Share the accommodation details and management’s conditions; a suitable villa or approved venue is a different arrangement.
